Today i wanna make an Apple wallpaper with dark texture effect. I also want you to know how to make it too. So, i will show you how to make it step by step, let see the tutorial.First make a new layer on your photoshop. If you want to make it fit in your HD screen, just make it to 1920 x 1080 px.
And then double click the background layer, fill it with light grey color, see the screenshoot:
After that, click Filter/Diffuse Glow. Stay still on Background layer click Filter/Spatter, apply this effect twice. And then click Filter/Sharpen/Sharpen. Your background would be like this:
Next, double click the background layer again. And choose Gradient Overlay make the value like screenshoot below:
Your background would be like this:
Now, make the apple logo on your wallpaper. You can download the font here. Press Shift + A to type the apple logo. And then crop the apple logo using Magic Wand Tool. See screenshoot:
With apple logo marking, now click on Background Layer and then press Cut (Ctrl + X) and Paste (Ctrl + V). Apply the value below to your new apple logo.
